I have enjoyed working in travel for over 40 years. My background includes working with two international airlines, hotel and resort management, and over 30 years as a travel advisor. During this time I have been fortunate to travel extensively by air, land and ship and amassed volumes of information to assist in planning spectacular travel arrangements for my clients. Working with government tourist boards, I have achieved Specialist Certification in many areas of the world. This assures my clients of superior knowledge and first-hand travel experience in these destinations.
I always encourage my clients to look beyond the obvious and discover special places and unique experiences during their travels - to take the time to slow down and enjoy more immersion into the culture of a destination, always with their own special interests in mind. Taste the wine, cook the food, mingle with the locals at a festival or sports venue. A memorable journey is so much more than than monuments and museums!
As an avid gardener, wine lover and cook, for many years I have specialized in and hosted culinary and wine travel as well as garden tours. I also enjoy discovering new and exciting destinations on small luxury ships both on the world's oceans and rivers.
