Program Overview

Learn more about the cradle of Slow Food and Eataly hearing the stories of local people and producers, taste some of the best wines of Italy and admire the enchanting Unesco World Heritage landscapes of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato Hills...

Myrna Arroyo, Certified Sommelier, will be leading you through Piedmont, along with expert local guides from See Italy, to discover the best food and wine the region has to offer. In designing the trip, we tried to balance wine tastings, cooking classes, fine dining and tours to allow you to experience the best of Piedmont. We also allowed a few free evenings, to let you explore on your own, or join Myrna for optional dining experiences around the area, which has more Michelin starred restaurants than any other region in Italy.

Accommodations

For our week in Piedmont, we will be staying at the Relais Villa d’Amelia in the Langhe region. This is a five-star luxury property in the heart of the Langhe region near Alba. The villa is a superb renovation of an 18th century estate, placed on a hill crest between lush woods and Langa hazelnut trees, with a breathtaking view over the Alps and the Barolo vineyards. It's a perfect base for exploring the region of Piedmont.
